About the workshop:

Non-profit organizations are businesses with their own language.  When it comes to bookkeeping for non-profits, the buzz words are donations instead of sales receipts, donors instead of customers, and volunteer hours instead of vendors.  The bookkeeping and financial needs are unique to their world.

QuickBooks Premier Non-Profit edition utilizes the nomenclature of non-profit businesses.  However, non-profits don't need to go out and purchase this more expensive, special edition to follow proper bookkeeping procedures.  The standard versions of QuickBooks work just fine for non-profit and profit-seeking businesses alike as long as they are designed properly.  This seminar explains how non-profits can utilize QuickBooks, highlighting these three points:

  • The Nonprofit Edition - Myth vs. Reality
  • Meeting the Unique Needs of the Nonprofit
  • Board Reporting - Making it easy
